  Nice ideas going on here, Eric, Brandon. That nagging almost-memory of the dream nastily manifesting in the waking world is a trope worthy of a thousand variations.
  
  And I like the burnt cinnamon smell business -- Proustian memory reference?
  
  Most of all, and I kid you not, I hope the caffeine-as-monster-repellant is a continuing theme. I, as many others (Shannon Wheeler most notably in the cartooning world), have so many emotions tied up with the use of caffeine (and the way stopping it creates monstrous headaches) that it has resonance.
  
  Mirco and David's art (Norman R. is gnawing his pipe up in illustrator heaven, David) is great and your lovely dreamer would do Adam Hughes proud.
  
  Please continue with the Lovecraftian references, the more obscure the better, for those of us who have spent hours cramming the eldritch yankee gentleman's violet verbiage into our consciousness.
  
  Nice talking with you at the con, and hope we can socialize in the future.
