New Trautmann/Jerwa comic out this week

Though not a Wide Awake update, this week a new DC comic series, The Shield, hits store shelves. (The street date is Wed., Sep. 9 2009, but with the Labor Day holiday shipping delay, it'll hit most stores in North America on the 10th of September.) 

The Shield is a monthly DC superhero comic, written by Wide Awake's Eric Trautmann and illustrated by Marco Rudy. 

But wait! There's more. Each issue also contains a co-feature, starring Inferno, written by Wide Awake's own Brandon Jerwa, illustrated by Greg Scott. 

So, while you're waiting for your Wide Awake fix, can we humbly suggest you hit your Friendly Local Comic Shoppe and acquire -- demand! -- a copy of The Shield/Inferno.
